The Magic of the “in-between” Moments

Trust the work.
Trust the process.
Trust that the vision you have built in your mind will one day be a reality.
This is often the hardest part of any worthwhile journey.
It’s the moments in-between; in-between the effort and the results; in-between the start and the finish; in-between what you once were and what you shall one day become.
These moments are the true measure of your faith.
Do you really believe in your vision or do you just “kind of” believe?
How you show up each day tells the real story.
It’s ok to just “kind of” believe in your vision at times, especially in the beginning stages of a journey.
But, your faith must grow and become more and more concrete as time passes.
As you work, and build consistency into your day-to-day habits, you will grow in self-confidence, which will slowly transform you into the person capable of achieving the vision you have created.
I think this gets overlooked a lot.
You will NEVER be ready to take the first step (in anything).
The first step is all courage.
You have to know that your vision will be realized as you become the person capable of making it a reality.
The battle IS the preparation.
You build your armor along the way.
You make tiny adjustments and alterations to your process as you gather and apply new information.
None of this information can be implemented without the initial leap-of-faith.
This is the test.
Taking the leap is proof that you have the capability to make your vision a reality.
But then comes the work.
The problem is that you build consistency into your efforts, you work diligently to grow as a person, putting forth everything you have, day-after-day…
But nothing happens.
So you work some more, and you wait.
And again, nothing happens.
This is where most people give up.
But not you.
You started on this journey for a reason and realize that these are the beautiful moments that you must not only endure, but enjoy!
This is where the growth happens.
It’s the magic of the “in-between” moments.
It’s like planting a bamboo tree and seeing nothing happen for 5 years…
Then all of a sudden it starts growing almost 3 feet a day.
This is exactly how most visions are realized.
It’s in the moments where you are patiently waiting that the real growth is taking place.
The energy you pour into your vision is stored, multiplied, and then all of a sudden, released.
But this only works if you can learn to wait patiently, and enjoy all of the “in- between” moments…..
Where nothing “seems” to be happening.
This is where the magic REALLY IS happening.
So work today like you have everything on the line, but sleep tonight like everything you have ever dreamed of is already yours.
