What is Safe Money⁉️ — Part 2 (if you prefer video, click here)

#safemoney and investments are not mutually exclusive; it’s not one or the other. I think you should have BOTH❗️

The stock market 📈 is the best way to really grow your money long-term, but you have to take on a substantial amount of risk to do that. The bottom-line is that you don’t need to have all of your money at-risk, riding the rollercoaster 🎢 of the market, to really build wealth, or to create a #taxfreeretirement.

There are better ways, you just need a strategy 💯

You should DEFINITELY participate in the market to help grow your money 💵, but a good rule-of-thumb is to always keep your age in safe dollars. So, if you’re 30 years old, you should have 30% of your money 💰 somewhere safe. If you’re 60, you should have 60% of your money 💰 somewhere safe.

Following this type of #retirement strategy actually allows you to be more disciplined with your investments (helping eliminate bad, emotional decisions that we all want to make when we see our 401k down 30%).

Having a safe money strategy allows you to achieve higher returns with less volatility 😏 (that’s what we are all after, right⁉️ Market-like returns without market-like volatility). It’s also helps you position yourself for lower taxes in retirement, and to create #guaranteedincome that you can never outlive in retirement (I’ll talk about that in another series).

This all may seem complex, but it’s really not. It’s a very simple way to add predictability, safety, and performance to what you’re currently doing. So let’s chat 💬 and see how having some safe money can help you❗️😎
